This past year has made me very uncomfortable. They started requiring you to fill out a homemade form any time you win a bonus payout. Muckleshoot Casino originally opened inside a 13,000-square-foot tent on April 26, 1995. The casino is located between Seattle and Tacoma. (See directions below.)

In 2019 the Muckleshoot Casino announced plans to expand its casino, remodel its exterior, add a convention center, build a cultural center and add an 18-story hotel with 400 guest rooms.

Current Construction 2019-2022

Muckleshoot Casino held a groundbreaking ceremony April 9, 2019 to begin a major expansion project to become the the largest casino resort hotel in the state.

The first phase of construction will be completed in spring 2020 and add the following:

• New casino floor plan with 10,000 more square feet to bring the total gaming space to 157,000 square feet.

• Larger smoke-free area

• New casino center bar

• New, upgraded exterior on the casino

• 20,000-square-foot events center

• Three new, fast-casual restaurants

The second phase of construction will be completed in the second quarter of 2022 and add the following:

Muckleshoot Casino delays hotel opening till 2022

March 5, 2020

Muckleshoot Casino has rescheduled plans for completing the construction of a 18-story, 400-room hotel tower adjacent to the casino. The new completion date has been extended to 2022 after approving design changes for an indoor pool and a rooftop restaurant. The original completion date was scheduled for spring 2021.

The hotel is the final phase of construction in a huge expansion project at Muckleshoot Casino which was announced in February 2019. The expansion plan included a redesigned casino floor with 10,000 additional square feet of gaming space, three new restaurants and a new center bar, 20,000 square-foot Events and Conference Center, a new exterior facade, and a Muckleshoot Tribe History Cultural Center.

Muckleshoot Casino becomes official partner of NHL Seattle

November 5, 2019

Muckleshoot Casino has become an official partner of NHL Seattle and Oak View Group. The announcement was made Oct. 30 during the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's blessing of the land ceremony for the $930 million New Arena (formerly KeyArena) at Seattle Center.

The partnership is a sponsorship deal making Muckleshoot the official casino of the Seattle NHL expansion team scheduled to play at the new arena beginning in 2021. It includes a luxury suite inside the new arena and advertising signage throughout the arena and the casino. Muckleshoot Casino will be the named sponsor of all power plays during hockey games.

While the new hockey arena is under construction, Muckleshoot Casino is also undergoing a renovation and expansion that will add an 18-story, 400-room hotel. The new hotel opening date will align with the opening of the new area in mid-2021.

The Muckleshoot Casino partnership with NHL Seattle is expected to increase the casino's 12,000 daily customers by 10% to 20%.

Muckleshoot Casino breaks ground on 18-story hotel tower

The Muckleshoot Tribe celebrated its second ground breaking this year on Sep 5. A ceremony with drums, chanting, dancing and sacred songs launched the second phase of expansion at Muckleshoot Casino and the construction of an 18-story, 400-room hotel tower.

The Muckleshoot hotel will be the largest hotel of any Indian casino resort in Washington. In addition to 400 luxury guest rooms and suites there will be an indoor pool, luxury spa, rooftop restaurant, and a children arcade and play area.

The hotel will open in second quarter of 2022.

This is the second phase of construction at Muckleshoot Casino. The first phase began in April of this year to add 20,000 square feet of gaming space, a new layout of the casino floor, more smoke-free gaming area, 25,000-square-foot events center, and three new restaurants. Construction will be completed in spring 2020.

Muckleshoot Casino will open 18-story hotel in Spring 2021

In a press release April 25th the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe announced a new hotel tower will be built adjacent to the Muckleshoot Casino. It will be an 18-stories with 400 luxury guest rooms and suites.

This is the second phase of huge expansion project previously announced in February. The hotel's opening date will be in the second quarter of 2021. The cost of construction is undisclosed.

The hotel will include luxury features like panoramic room views of of Mount Rainier, a luxury spa, an indoor pool and a rooftop restaurant for fine dining. There will also be family-friendly amenties including an arcade and play yard for children.

When completed in 2021 the Muckleshoot Casino Resort will have the largest hotel in the state.

Major expansion underway at Muckleshoot Casino

Construction has begun at Muckleshoot Casino to add 10,000 square feet of gaming space, a 20,000 square foot events and concert center, a cultural and history center and new dining venues.

A ground breaking ceremony was held in February preceded by a traditional tribal blessing. The events kicked off this latest expansion project which the Muckleshoot Casino, the largest casino in the Northwest.

Muckleshoot Casino is also celebrating its 24th anniversary during the month of April.

Muckleshoot Casino Announces Major Expansion for 2020

February 14, 2019

The Muckleshoot Tribe announced a new expansion project last week for their Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Washington. The following are key features of the project:

• The casino will have a new floor plan, a larger smoke-free area and an additional 10,000 square feet of gaming space.
• Three new, fast-casual restaurants and a new center bar will be added.
• A 20,000 square-foot Events and Conference Center will be built with a 2,000-seat capacity.
• A new exterior facade will be applied to the casino.
• A History Cultural Center will honor the Muckleshoot Tribe

Construction will start soon and be completed in early 2020.

In a press release, Muckleshoot Tribal Council Chair Virginia Cross said, 'Our focus has always been on continual improvement of our casino operations and providing our customers a first-class experience.
